Turkish Delight--The Chronicle of Narnia

He was quite warm now, and very comfortable. “Turkish delight”土耳其文為”lokum”,據說是君士坦丁堡土耳其人Hadji Bekir發明,以糖漿與玉米粉熬煮數小時後出鍋攤平固定切小塊滾上霜糖,口味家家有其秘方,最常搭用的是各種碎核果,杏泥,檸檬汁,玫瑰花水,橘子花水等材料,此甜點中東盛行,多由土耳其或希臘進口. 這盒“香草阿月渾子托其虛低賴特---Vanilla Pistachio Turkish Delight”極甜應該可能是美的,可是因為不新鮮遂既不柔潤也無香氣,口感稍類似台灣新港飴但有異國風味, 配上釅茶一椀確是有可能引人背判的糖點 某人吃了糖並不甚稱心舒服但起碼咱們學會說”Turkish delight—捲舌r,輕聲k,輕聲t.”
